Looking for information about a council service?
On Thursday 27th September 2012 a special information session will be held at 8pm in Floyd’s of Ballymagorry so that farmers can learn more about what support is available and what is likely to change under CAP reform. DARD adviser, John Moore, Farm Modernisation co-ordinator Andrew Kerr and Farm Family Options Mentor Alex Cromie will be attending the event to give farmers information and advice in relation to what they can do to take advantage of current and future opportunities.
Information will be available on CAP reform, Farm Modernisation and the support available to farm families through the Farm Family Options Mentoring Programme and the NI Rural Development Programme.
Andrew Dunne, secretary of Ballylaw Farmers Group explained: “We find we have so much information to get through at times, so an event like this is a great way to learn exactly what is happening as well as meeting other farmers, sharing problems and finding out the best way to deal with problems.”
Farmers and their families are invited along to the event in Floyd’s at 8pm to learn more and find out how they can get help and support for the future. More information is available from The Villages Together on 7184 1735 or Dennett Interchange on 7139 7990.
