Sports Facility Strategy
The Sports Council for Northern Ireland, along with its key partners, is currently co-ordinating the first sports facility strategy for Northern Ireland. The strategy, which will be launched in June 2007, will guide the direction for sports facilities over the next 10 years.Strabane District Council has been asked to input to the strategy before 10th November and would therefore like your feedback on:-
- The suitability of your existing facilities
- The approximate number, type and location of facilities you think should be developed
- Details of any existing proposals to develop new facilities / rationalise facilities / refurbish facilities.
- Views on partnership arrangement with schools, private operators, governing bodies
- Non facility requirements such as training of maintenance staff, education on technical developments, etc
- Any other matters you believe the facility strategy should address.
