Derg Valley Leisure Centre has an extensive
range of facilities and activities on offer to
cater for many different sporting, artistic,
and recreational requirements.
The Centre's facilities include steam room,
snooker room with 2 full-size tables, squash court, multi-purpose activity room with inflatable bouncy castle which is ideal for birthday parties, 2 committee rooms, weights room/fitness suite, multi-purpose sports hall, and a brand new outdoor floodlit synthetic pitch.
The sports hall accommodates soccer, hockey, volleyball, basketball, netball, badminton, table tennis, cricket, karate, and bowls. While for children visiting the Centre there is the Saturday Club running from September to June, and the Summer Opportunities Scheme during the month of July.
Weights Room/Fitness Suite
Finally, Derg Valley Leisure Centre aims to encourage participation in a number of other activities through a program of classes and courses using expert and qualified instructors. These include soccer coaching, yoga classes, aerobic/step aerobic classes, acrobatic gymnastics for children, and karate.
