  • "Art, Take Part"

It has just got a lot easier to find out what arts and crafts activities are on in Tyrone & The Sperrins with the launch of the new Art Take Part website, the first of its kind in Northern Ireland!

An initiative of Voluntary Arts Ireland and Culture Northern Ireland, Art Take Part is an online search facility and guide providing people with information about the many local arts activities they can take part in across Northern Ireland.

If you run a group or activity that is not yet listed on the site you needn’t worry! As well as finding out what arts opportunities are happening near you, you can also upload your own creative events, classes and workshops directly onto the site. As an Art Take Part group you can promote your activities completely for free. You can also upload photos and show your location using Google maps to enhance your online presence.

Art take Part depends on the growing community of people who are interested in providing arts activities as well as taking part in them. It is hoped that as this community grows Art Take Part will expand, providing increasingly comprehensive listings of arts activities in Northern Ireland.

To view what is happening in your area, or to let people know more about your own activity, visit www.arttakepart.org.
