A picturesque crossroads village, standing on the banks of the Glenelly River, Plumbridge offers the choice of five roads every one of which opens up to the scenic beauty of the Sperrins and its hinterland.

Glenelly

The village enjoys the benefits of a strong sense of community spirit, as do its counterparts at neighbouring Sperrin and Cranagh, and have done much to enhance the quality of life for all those who live in the locality.

Glenelly ValleyTourism is an increasingly important component of the local economy and has been developed in sympathy with the area's status as "An Area of Natural Outstanding Beauty". Plumbridge and the Sperrins in general offer a complete taste of rural Ireland featuring picturesque walking and cycling routes, peaceful picnic sites , excellent accommodation facilities and an opportunity to sample a tradition rich in myth and legends.
