BE International Exporting - An Economic Driver For Change
The Council is aware that many companies out there could develop their businesses profitably by targeting an international market for their product or service. In partnership with the North West Councils, Strabane District Council is funding a beINTERNATIONAL programme that aims to help businesses in the North West develop new export opportunities and international business linkages. A minimum of four companies will be supported in Strabane District.
The programme will be delivered in two phases. Phase I will appoint an experienced mentor to help businesses clarify their objectives and capability for international activity and will direct companies towards available support. Phase II includes three options of support to businesses. The options are Export Europe, Export GB/RoI, Technology Transfer & International Business linkages.
The programme is open to businesses based in Strabane, Magherafelt, Derry/Londonderry, Limavady and Coleraine Council areas. It is open to businesses in any sector, inexperienced in export markets that are committed to creating growth in turnover and willing to commit senior management time to explore new opportunities.
