Food Premises Registration
REGISTERING A FOOD BUSINESS
If your business involves preparing, handling or selling food, it must be registered with the Council’s Environmental Health Department. Examples include :-
- Restaurants and takeaways,
- Hotels, guest houses, bed and breakfast establishments,
- Pubs,
- Retail shops,
- Nursing/residential homes,
- Staff canteens, school meals kitchens,
- Hot food vans, ice-cream vans, market stalls,
- Home caterers.
