Donemana is in full flow preparing for their festival. Through the Connect Project they have produced creative colourful costumes to dazzle the local community. During their summer scheme, 15 young children commenced art taster sessions making Carnival costumes and experiencing Circus performance.

Lost in Donemana

A new film project involving teenagers has brought the phrase ‘lights, camera and action’ to Donemana. Over the summer months the activities of a budding group of filmmakers lent an air more commonly associated with the Cannes film festival to the village. The result is a stunning short film, ‘Lost in Donemana’ which showcases local talent. The eight teenagers took to the film set to shoot the film, as part of a project to teach acting, producing and editing skills.
