Gallowshill Christmas Atmosphere

Residents of Gallowshill have been busy getting ready for Christmas and to celebrate the start of the festive season have launched a Christmas card.  As part of the CONNECT project, locals have got together with artist, Linda Jane Coote, to make this years Christmas greetings a little more special with a unique Christmas card collection depicting images of Omagh.

A Pictures Paints a Thousand Words

Residents of Campsie are celebrating as the town’s water wall has been transformed.   This new brighter look has been the result of a summer mural project in which old and young alike took on the challenge of completing a 140 feet mural.

CAMPSIE’S TIME LINE

24th July 06

Campsie residents’ group have taken up the challenge of transforming the water wall.  A 30 strong group of adults and children will take on this challenge through the CONNECT arts project.  A vibrant mural depicting a people’s history of the area is set to breathe new life into this part of Omagh.
