Ballycolman Haunted House

1st November 2007

Strabane District Council would like to congratulate the Ballycolman Community Association on their hugely successful ‘Haunted House’ which was open between the 24th and the 30th of October. The usual and familiar surroundings of the community centre were completely transformed into a spooky house of horrors and provided fun and entertainment for kids of all ages and many of their parents who also dared to enter.

Ballcolman Launches Community Garden

17 October 2006

Ballycolman community Centre has been given a facelift in a unique landscaping project. Over the summer local green fingers have got together to successfully transform the area into a colourful, picturesque and peaceful garden.   This transformation is due to the strength, commitment and enthusiasm of local residents, who toiled through rain and sunshine to develop the garden for local residents.

Ballycolman Take on the Challenge of A Community Garden

17 August 2006

A new community garden is set to transform Ballycolman.  Local residents are about to embark on an art based gardening project, which will transform the ground alongside of the community hall into a floral delight.  A group of adults and children will take on this challenge through the Connect Arts Project over the next few weeks.
