Detailed Air Quality Assessment

The air quality action plan published in 2004 identified a range of measures that could be taken to reduce the concentration of this pollutant across the district.  The action plan is currently being implemented across the district.

The Environmental Health Department also carry out air quality monitoring for black smoke, PM10 and sulphur dioxide from its monitoring station in Strabane.  Further information, including the latest monitoring data is available from www.airqualityni.co.uk/index.php?t_action=&site_id=SBAN&t=&m=1.2&p=.
