Personal Development Course
for Young Gay People & Their Close Friends
WHY GET INVOLVED?
It will be fun.
Everyone can face problems because they are gay. This course will help you build your self confidence as a gay person and develop the skills to deal with those situations.
You will meet other gay people and get the chance to exchange views and explore experiences in a safe place.
Every gay person needs to have people they can turn to in times of difficulty. By getting involved in this course you will improve your network of people who can support you.
You will get health and sex information useful to you as a gay person.
You will be helping Julie and Ann who are developing an LGBT awareness course for youth groups in the area.
If you complete the course you will get an OCN level 2 certificate in 'Young Adult Development' that is at the same level as a GCSE.
