Vincent River Production
Strabane & Lifford LGBT Group in conjunction with Strabane District Council and Belfast Pride brings highly acclaimed Vincent River production to The Alley Theatre Strabane.
On the 26th August award winning Prime Cut makes a welcome return to the Alley with this remarkable tale of loss and redemption.

Community Relations Week
As part of the celebration of Community Relations Week 2009 (27th April – 2nd May) Strabane District Council has launched its Good Relations leaflet at an open day at Strabane Library.

As part of its commitment to the promotion of Good Relations and in the run up to Community Relations Week (April 25 – May 2), Strabane District Council has launched a Good Relations campaign, using billboards and adshells around the District including Strabane, Ballymagorry, Maghermason, Plumbridge and Castlederg.

LGBT Exhibition and Book Donation
On Saturday 6th June Strabane & Lifford Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgendered Group presented a number of books to Strabane Community Library.

Heads On Hands On
On Monday 21st of September at the Alley Theatre participants from across the Strabane, Omagh and Derry City Councils who took part in the ‘Heads On Hands On’ Good Relations programme were presented with their certificates.

Summer Intervention Programme
7th August 2009
The Strabane District Council summer scheme got off to a flying start this year by offering a wide range of activities to over 180 children, between the ages of seven to sixteen. Activities on offer included sports, dance, laser tag, arts and crafts, offered at local leisure facilities across the district.
